Marquette is also the proud author of Divorced but Not Defeated, a compelling memoir that chronicles her journey of overcoming adversity and finding purpose after personal challenges. Her story resonates with many, serving as a beacon of hope for those navigating similar experiences. 

 

In recognition of her significant contributions to her community and her unwavering dedication to personal growth, Marquette has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree along with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. These honors reflects her commitment to service and leadership, further solidifying her role as a respected figure in her field. 

 

As the founder of Marquette’s Closet and Marquette L. Walker Interior Design, she combines her entrepreneurial spirit with her passion for aesthetics, creating spaces that not only inspire but also reflect the individuality of her clients. Additionally, Marquette is a co-founder of A&M FaithFusion Partners, where she collaborates with like-minded individuals to foster community initiatives and programs.

Dr. A. Dee Russell: Speaker, Author & Transformational Coach Known as the “Passionate Healer of the Heart,” Dr. A. Dee Russell is a visionary leader dedicated to empowering women through faith, resilience, and transformation. Her life’s mission is to guide others toward healing and strength, believing that her story of overcoming grief and adversity can inspire people of all ages, nationalities, statuses, and beliefs. As the founder of Moving Mountains Ministry Inc. and author of 100% Healed: A Mother’s Journey of Moving Mountains to Heal the Heart After Death and Divorce, she is committed to uniting women through shared testimonies and revelations.

Dr. Russell’s spiritual calling is complemented by her role as a Culture Integrator at a Fortune 500 company, where she fosters inclusivity, leadership development, and organizational transformation. She helps bridge cultural gaps, cultivate collaboration, and create environments where individuals thrive both personally and professionally. Beyond her professional work, she is a devoted wife to Anthony Russell and the proud mother of a blended family, embracing the beauty of unity and shared purpose in all aspects of life.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from South Carolina State University in 1990 and an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from North Carolina College of Theology in 2015. In 2019, she completed a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership at Charleston Southern University. A John Maxwell Certified Speaker and a Personal, Professional, Christian, and Empowerment Coach, Dr. Russell obtained her Doctoral Degree from Glory to Glory College of Theology and Leadership, an affiliate of Christian Leadership University. She also serves as an adjunct professor with G2GCTL.

As a contributing author in the anthology Visionary Leaders of Purpose by Dr. Tabatha Russell, Dr. Russell continues to share her insights and experiences, inspiring others to embrace their purpose and walk boldly in their faith.
Drawing from her own experiences—losing her mother, navigating marriage, divorce, single parenthood, widowhood, and the heartbreaking loss of a child—Dr. Russell walks alongside women as they rediscover their purpose and power.
